Almost there...

Exactly 3 weeks from today, I will be home in California! I seriously can't wait. I just have to survive 2 weeks of school, 1 week of finals, and moving out. I just went to my ballet luncheon on Friday for Theatre Ballet, Ballet Showcase, and all of the ballet faculty. There were lots of different emotions in that room (happy, sad, teary, joy) and I love everyone in the ballet program. I am sure going to miss dancing, all the faculty, and of course all those girls that I love and spend hours with everyday. I am still trying to accept the fact that this will be my last semester dancing EVER. It's been hard, but it just wouldn't work out with my schedule and my new major. I had to pick and choose and it was sure one tough decision. Everything that I have worked hard on over the past few years are going to just end. It's a weird feeling. I won't know what to do with my time! I am actually going to be a normal college student. Ballet has brought to me such joy and satisfaction that I can't explain. It makes me so happy, especially when I perform. Hopefully one day I'll be able to go back and teach. Oh and just for kicks, I calculated that I approximately spent at least $2,000 on JUST pointe shoes since I was 11! Holy cow! My pile of shoes is looking pretty darn nice. :)

Today I watched conference, swam, ran, and ate lots of good food. It was about 80 degrees out and I got the best sunburn/tan line! I love the sun!

(I know I look super asian...but my eyes ARE open believe it or not.)

Is there such a thing as too much Smash?

It all started with a Groupon that I got for Smashburger. It was an incredible deal and I just couldn't pass it up. I mean, who doesn't like a good burger and fries at Smash? I paid $7 for $24 worth of food! So Jay, Shaun, Megan, and myself went to Smashburger on Monday. When we got there, the overly excited, happy, and smiley cashier told us about the deal they were having that night. For every burger you buy, you get a free kids meal. So we got 4 burgers and 3 free kids meal (we didn't want the 4th kids meal). Let's just say that's a whole lot of food for four people! Jay of course was confident that he would finish all of it. In the end, there were about 1.5 burgers left and lots of fries.
